В этом городе, где креативность, казалось бы, царствует, есть и свои антиподы – художники, чьи работы вызывают исключительно недоумение. Их картины, часто исписанные непонятными символами и абстрактными пятнами, трудно назвать искусством. Один из них за последние пять лет не продал ни одной работы, и это вызывает вопросы: возможно, зрители инстинктивно избегают такого рода "творений"?
Другой мастер пестрит яркими цветами, но, похоже, забывает о смысле и композиции. Его экспонаты чаще вызывают смех, чем восхищение, и порой на выставках можно увидеть группы людей, иронично обсуждающих его "шедевры". Третий художник, затеявший акцию в центре города, привлек внимание не оригинальностью, а неуместностью своих действий – его картины из мусора, собранного на улице, вызвали не только удивление, но и гнев жителей.
Их имена навсегда останутся в тени, но каждый из них, несмотря на отсутствие таланта, продолжает верить, что искусство – это лишь вопрос восприятия.
In this city where creativity seems to reign supreme, there are also its antipodes - artists whose work is exceptionally perplexing. Their paintings, often painted with incomprehensible symbols and abstract blots, can hardly be called art. One of them has not sold a single work in the last five years, which raises questions: perhaps viewers instinctively avoid this kind of "creations"?
The other artist is full of bright colours, but seems to forget about meaning and composition. His exhibits more often provoke laughter than admiration, and sometimes at exhibitions one can see groups of people ironically discussing his "masterpieces". The third artist, who started an action in the city centre, attracted attention not by originality, but by the inappropriateness of his actions - his paintings made of rubbish collected in the street caused not only surprise, but also anger of the residents.
Their names will forever remain in the shadows, but each of them, despite their lack of talent, continues to believe that art is just a matter of perception.
